2. How to Reset Department Password / Forgot Password?

 To reset department password, you need to write an email from principal of the college requesting to reset Department Login password to prexam@vtu.ac.in, by
mentioning appropriate reason along with the username.

3. Where do I get my college department login credentials?

 The department login credentials will be available with Head of the department.

4.Where to contact for Exam Application Technical related queries?

 What Tickets can be raised by the department of the college?

Edit student application
 Once the student finalizes application, the application can be viewed by the department and they can edit if required. After confirming the details and photograph the authorized personnel of the department can approve. After approval the department personnel cannot edit, but  if they find some error has been made they need to raise the ticket for the USN with error code VTUE110. On approval from VTU the department can edit.

5. Student forgot Email / Mobile No.?

: When a student informs the department that he/she has forgot the Email / Mobile No. entered or that he/she has wrongly entered Email / Mobile No. then authorized person from the department need to raise a ticket with error code
VTUE111. Once the ticket is approved then the new random password will be generated and made available to the department. The department personnel needs to pass this information to the student who can then edit his/her Email
/ Mobile No.

6. Regular scheme and semester of a student missing?

If the department / student finds that the regular scheme
/ semester is not available or missing, then the
department needs to raise ticket with error code VTUE100.
If the ticket is approved then the regular scheme and
semester will be available.

7 Fees missing?

If the department / student finds the fees missing error
then the department needs to raise ticket with error code
VTUE101. On approval from VTU the fees information will be
corrected.

8. USN Missing?

When the department finds a USN of a student eligible to apply missing they need to raise a ticket with error code VTUE102. On approval of the ticket the USN will be made available.

9.Arrear subject code is missing?

When the department / student finds that an arrear subject is missing then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUE103. On approval of the ticket the
missing arrear subject code will be made available.

10.Additional subject code is missing?

When the department / student finds that Additional subject code is missing then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUE104. On approval the Additional subject code will be made available.

11.Fee calculation is wrong?

 When the department / student finds that the fee calculation is wrong then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUE105. On approval of the ticket the Fee calculation will be corrected.

12. Regular scheme is wrong?

When the department / student finds that the Regular scheme is wrong then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUE106. On approval the Regular scheme will be corrected.

13. Regular semester is wrong?

When the department / student finds that the Regular semester is wrong then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUE107. On approval of the ticket the Regular semester will be corrected.

13. Arrear subject code is wrong?

When the department / student finds that the Arrear subject code is wrong then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUE108. On approval the Arrear
subject code is modified.

14.OTES scheme and regular semester not available?

 If the regular semester of OTES student is not available then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUE109. On approval of the ticket the Regular semester will be made available.
NOTE: If the department / student find any other issue then the department needs to raise a ticket with error code VTUESGE and describe the issue VTU will accordingly approve / disapprove
based on the issue.

1. Where do I get my student login credentials?

You can get your student login credentials from your
department of your college.

2. What is Username and Password for Student Login?

University Seat Number is the Username
Ex: 4SH11CS007, For UG Student
Ex: 2VX15SCS17, For PG Student
a. Password is 6 digit number received from the college ( First Login )
b. Password set by student after changing it on first login.

3. How to reset Forgot Password?

Visit “Forgot Password” link in Student Login Page (UG /PG)

4. What to do if subject details / fees details / are wrong. The Email / Mobile No. is either forgotten or wrongly entered?

 Contact your department and request them to raise the ticket by describing your issue. The department can raise ticket for any issue/s.
