UGC RESPONDS FOR ONLINE CLASSES PROBLEMS | LOT OF grievance FROM STUDENTS

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has sent an advisory to all colleges saying it has received complaints from students about “technical glitches” during online classes.

Students are also aggrieved because syllabuses have not been completed, according to the advisory.

The UGC has advised each college to set up a grievance monitoring cell and address the problem immediately.

The students had expressed their grievances through a dedicated helpline and an email of a task force that had been set up by the commission last month to address the grievances of college and university students during the closure forced by the pandemic , the advisory said.

“The students have represented regarding completion of syllabi, technical glitches during the online classes, conduct of face to face classes, infrastructural constraints, examination issues related to back papers, admission process, collection of compulsory non-refundable deposits etc….,” the UGC advisory read.

Students, especially those from faraway places had been complaining that they could not access the online teaching because of poor internet connectivity.

    “network problem
    Mobile heating issues
    No electricity for mobile charging.
Data speed was too low ..lots of buffering
    Mental illness fear of corona
Teachers are dumping the syllabus forcefully to our head ….due to the pressure of dcm ….
They can’t clear our doubts . teachers keep on reading the pdf…and giving the YouTube links ..and asks “how was my teaching ”
They are blackmailing to rate their teachings when institutions asks for feedback ….we are done with is online classes… every day they are forcefully make us to sit in front of mobiles ..this will cause our eye problems…back pain…mental stress…and…headache….
We are not inthe environment of learning now…due to corona…we are feeling like in jail….
So..pls . .promote us ..or else…. extend the sem upto 3 months ….BcZ engineering is not so easy as u think ….if we can learn a sem with in a month …. then can we get a degree in 8 months..??? 😒

The health of students are more important than their semester exams..
    Please do consider that..
Many prestigious universities of many states have promoted their students keeping the health of students in mind..!
I request the government to do the same…
    Health is wealth…
