National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) result 2020 will be announced on October 12. The result will be declared online at the official website at ntaneet.nic.in.NEET 2020 is expected to be declared by the National Testing Agency, NTA on October 12, 2020.

Candidates who have appeared in NEET exam on September 13, 2020 will be able to access the NEET 2020 result fro the official website. Candidates can visit ntaneet.nic.in result 2020, enter the roll number, date of birth and security pin to check the NEET result 2020.Candidates must keep their hall tickets handy as they will have to enter the roll number, date of birth and security pin to get their NEET UG result in the form of rank and marks obtained.

NEET 2020 exam was conducted on September 13 amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Further, the NEET UG Answer Key 2020 was released on September 26. The NEET 2020 aspirants can challenge the answer keys until September 29.Approximately 90 percent of the registered candidates appeared for the NEET 2020 held at over 3,800 centers. For the safety of students, free transportation and accommodation were announced by various state governments.

Here’s how to download NEET UG Result 2020:

Step 1: Visit the NTA NEET result website – ntaneet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link that reads ”View NEET-UG 2020 -Result”

Step 3: On the login page, enter the required credentials (roll number, DOB, security pin) and hit submit

Step 4: The NTA NEET Rank Card 2020 will be on your screen

Step 5: Download it and take a print out for future reference.

NEET Result 2020: Admission procedure

An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of All India Rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) – 2020 and candidates shall be admitted to Undergraduate Medical Courses from the said list only, with existing reservation policy.

The NTA NEET 2020 scorecard that you will see will include your rank and marks obtained in UG entrance exam. The score card will also incorporate NTA NEET 2020 subject-wise percentile score, total marks, All India Rank (AIR), and category rank.

Only those who are able to meet the NTA NEET 2020 cut off will be called for NEET counselling 2020 and seat allocation process. The minimum qualifying criteria for general or unreserved (UR) category candidates is at least 50 percentile, while for those who are from SC/ ST/ OBC will mandatorily have to meet 40 percentile.

For the unversed, the NTA NEET 2020 exam was held on September 13 this year. The exam was conducted in a traditional pen and paper mode. NTA UG 2020 was held in 3843 NEET exam centres across the nation.

It must be noted that 15 AIIMS and two JIPMER medical colleges will also grant admission to the NEET candidates via NEET result 2020.
