From May 10 CBSE Paper Evaluation Starts In Lockdown To Be Done At Home
The evaluation for class 10, 12 board exams will be done by teachers at their homes and 3,000 schools have been identified as exam centres to deliver the answer sheets to them, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said on Saturday.
Students who are eagerly waiting for the CBSE Board Exam Results 2020 can relax as a CBSE official has informed that the CBSE paper evaluation will be resumed in the lockdown itself soon.Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has started the process for evaluation of the answer sheets and shared guidelines with the respective teachers. The board has, however, only started the preliminaries and requested for specific information. Dates would be shared soon. As per the information shared by sources, CBSE is most likely to resume the evaluation or checking of the already conducted examinations by May 15. As for the CBSE Board Exam dates 2020 for the pending 29 papers, the board is likely to announce the dates by today.
Will CBSE paper evaluation only be carried out in the Green Zones in India for now?
Considering the fact that the number of Coronavirus cases in India is continuing to rise, carrying out CBSE paper evaluation will not be an easy task.
Since the Green Zones in India are those areas wherein no coronavirus cases have been seen in recent times. In these zones, all activities except those prohibited nationwide will be allowed. Buses can operate at 50 percent capacity.
As per unconfirmed news, CBSE paper evaluation would start only in Green Zones in India now. CBSE board examiners might be allowed to carry out the paper evaluation from home itself.
Teachers will evaluate from home and we will be able to complete the process in 50 days,” he added.
The evaluation of the answer sheets has been delayed due to a nationwide lockdown imposed to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
The pending board exams will be held from July 1 to 15.
